Wired Live – event signage

Each year we produce the graphics for the annual Wired conference on behalf of Emma Williamson Events. Held at Tobacco Dock in the east of London. The Wired live conference is a highly respected two-day event. With more than fifty speakers presenting on the Main Stage. On a third day, is a specially curated event to inspire young minds: WIRED: Next Generation aimed at 12- to 18-year-olds.

The project starts with a site survey to confirm all measurements and logistics. It could be asked, why do this if it's been done many times before? It's always worth re-confirming measurements, production methods, and of course, discussing any new elements for the current event.

A multitude of graphics and signage are needed to help the event run smoothly. These consist of pillar wraps, numerous hanging location signs and reception desk graphics. Brand messaging was printed as graduated tints on optically clear self adhesive vinyl for glass application. Finally, way finder freestanding units were produced with vinyl decal sponsor logos.

Installation happens the day before the event starts. On the evening of the second day the hanging signs and way finder graphics are all changed to the "Next Generation”. This is aimed at the younger audience to increase their interest and awareness. On the evening of the 3rd day we return to remove everything we have installed, and dispose of it safely and responsibly.
