NFT and AI artwork may well have been created on the screen, it doesn't mean that they can't be printed and framed on a wall too. So if you have some computer based art, including purchased NFTs, AI generated, or even pieces made by yourself, The Graphical Tree offers printing digital art capabilities through our fine art giclée service.
Have you seen the work of Zachary Lieberman, who produces art which explores the unexpected effects of geometries crafted by coding? His work is either sold as an NFT ('non-fungible token' ~ a way of owning the original digital image) or giclée printed and hand-signed and numbered by the artist. A show might consist of printed works alongside video installations of the NFTs, like this exhibition at Unit London.
After creating your art, purchasing a piece of artist created NFT art, or even Generative Art, (Artists like Keith Tyson, who won the Turner Price in 2002, once made a uniquely generating art computer which he called his Art Machine) you can turn it into a physical print to enjoy in your space. Perhaps having a physical piece might make the prospect of owning a unique NFT even more appealing to you?
Do remember that if you decide to print must have been either self-created the art, or you have purchased the original piece and have the permission from the artist to produce print from the digital piece. Who owns an NFT or generative art license is important. The artist will have sole ownership of a piece unless they have decided to transfer its rights to a new owner. So please do ask for permission from the original creator even if you have purchased an NFT, because the physical printing of a digital piece is effectively reproduction of a piece of art.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. We also have a short fine art help-guide here, and you can find full details of the giclée service including a price guide here.
